• garlic to taste (I used about 1 tsp)
  • A pinch of red pepper flakes 
  • 1/4 tsp pickle crisp per quart jar 
  • 3 sprigs fresh dill 
  • Washed and sliced canning cucumbers 

Brine:

  • 8.5 cups boiling water 
  • 2.5 cups vinegar 
  • 1/2 cup pickling salt or sea salt 

Summer in bath canner for 24 mins
